2022 HROCC Race Schedule is on it way!
Any club members can race with HROCC! This year, HROCC Race Program will be “officially” coaching, supporting and seating a handful of races. The first early Season Club races will be the Rusty Iron (4/23/22) and Round The Island Race- RATI (4/30/22). The other Club coached races will be named after the next board meeting mid-April. More details and transparency on how the seating happens will be coming out later from your 2022 coaches (Jon Davies, Sue Sutherland and Terese Roeseler). For 2022, all other races to be attended by club members (e.g. Napali, Moloka’i, Seventy48, Chattajack etc.), are self-crewing, “you’re on your own”, super fun, but not club supported events.

Mix It Up 2022!
We hope to pilot some new, impromptu HROCC practice sessions that will be available on Team Cowboy, and see how they go—all designed to address diverse and evolving interests of our large membership. Some of the ideas that have been mentioned-
All Guys Group, Double Rig Beatboxing, Keiki Summer Camp, Pal it Up Self-Selected Crews, and Spec Boat and Malolo Race Training. Reach out to BOD members if you have other groovy ideas for keeping HROCC fun, fresh and innovative! Stay tuned for more details and watch Team Cowboy with your hawkeye in 2022. Just like last year, magical, fun opportunities will appear as the season unfolds.
