HROCC—is an amazing club. Price point for membership, a diverse fleet that caters to a wide membership, numerous opportunities to get on the water weekly, great attitude, a strong and growing membership, hard working volunteers, and awesome smiling attitudes all make HROCC great. Feedback thus far is that the 2021 season has been strong, safe, and fun, with numerous full boats hitting the water every week and some first ever training sessions in the mix that will help grow our paddling competencies. Reach out as needed- I’m still working diligently behind the scenes as your BOD Prez for the remainder of the 2021 Season. I’m not gone yet!
WELCOME 2021 NEW MEMBERS!
We’re so glad you’re here. Thank you to Peny Wallace for heading up the role of New Member Onboarding Coordinator going forward. If you know someone that wants to join HROCC, have them email firstname.lastname@example.org and Peny will walk them through options and doors available!
ON THE WATER HAPPENINGS!
Check Team Cowboy—often!
We’ve got much to offer: regular weekly practices, Huli and Remount skill sessions, Keiki/ Enehana practices, fun Sunday events… on the list grows as new opportunities develop. Browse through Team Cowboy often and get on the roster asap! That is the best way to get involved in fun happenings.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEMBER CHANGES:
Kass Bergstrom- coming on as President Elect now!
Peny Wallace- coming on as Member at Large now!
Huge Thank You to these two stellar human beings. Off the water BOD duty is so necessary and so appreciated.
HEADS UP: BIG THINGS ON THE HORIZON…
AS IN 48 FEET LONG KIND OF BIG: We’re barreling towards needing to expand our fleet, and it looks like we’ll aim to budget that for next year if not sooner! So! Exciting! Stay tuned…
